When it comes to playing with the big leagues, all it takes is that one brilliant idea. I suppose that’s what happened to me when Holistic Fashionista was born. When I jumpstarted my entrepreneurial endeavors in my mid-twenties, I didn’t understand sales and marketing— and it’s pretty ironic that’s what I teach today. But as I became a more season businesswoman, I realized that even with my creativity, all those brilliant ideas wouldn’t have a platform to stand on, if I didn’t know how to bring them to commerce.

As we wrap up 2014 with a little glitz and glamour, I wanted to share the brilliance that lives inside Holistic Fashionista: the people. The most brilliant idea I ever had was to start being more of myself in business. That means dropping the ‘f-bomb’ if needed or blocking people who simply put “just didn’t get me.” People-pleasing is a disease and once you heal it from the inside out, the people who still remain end up being your greatest cheerleaders and that’s what makes YOU sparkle.

Today, I’m honored to say I have found the people who get me, I get them, and together we will change the world. With one brilliant idea after another, there is a place for your vision in the marketplace, you just need to find your niche and completely own it.
